Aida Frantzen
Norway native Aida Frantzen is a Berklee College Of Music graduate, artist, performer and Vocal and keyboard teacher.
Having studied with teachers like Janice Pendarvis (background singer for Sting and David Bowie), and Gabrielle Goodman (background vocalist for Chaka Kahn), and after performing with musicians like Rocco Prestia (Tower Of Power) and Ray Green (Santana, Tower of Power), Aida will teach you the vocal and keyboard chops you need to really wow a crowd.
Aida’s love for singing was present since she was a kid, and she started singing professionally in Norwegian TV shows at age 7. After falling in love with Aretha Franklin’s music and playing at age 10, she added piano to her musical tools, and haven’t stopped playing and singing since! Growing up in Norway, where you’re culturally not supposed to stand out too much, Aida found a safe space and a way to express herself in music with other musicians and music teachers at a very young age.
Though Aida runs an artist project and writes songs and music, Aida is very passionate about teaching and helping students find their voice and enhance the things that make their voice and playing special. Just like she experienced with her favorite teachers when she was younger. "Voice, piano and songwriting technique is there to help you perform sustainably, and boost the unique tones you already got! And I'm here to help no matter the amount of experience you have!" Get ready to sing and play your heart out with Aida!
